Hi. Thank you for visiting my website and for your interest in Invincible! I started writing for children in the first weeks after my mother’s death, when my oldest son, Matthew, born 12/8/94, was six months old. With my Mom gone I was driven to create some writings that would survive me – that would reflect to my children and their children much of my essence. Invincible is like another child of mine, and I am pleased to have started writing its sequel! The new book introduces a new character, a boy named Alexander. He will involve Lena and Meg in a quest to uncover a major problem that looms for the Kingdom. There will be a different kind of magic and quest in this book, and new problems for Lena and Meg to face as siblings and as people who are becoming part of the world outside of the castle. I am grateful that my readers are anxious for the sequel, so I will work hard to complete it! Writing isn’t the only way I spend my time, though. I am a presentation skills consultant which is how I earn money to help support my family. Writing feeds my soul but doesn’t put food on our table! I once was a practicing lawyer – for eleven years. Now, I write, consult, and I still serve on the Board of Imagination Stage, the children’s performing arts center that published Invincible. Right now, in 2007, my two sons are 12 (Matthew) and 7 (Joey). We live in Chevy Chase, MD. I was born in Chicago and my whole family loves the Chicago White Sox. So, my kids are huge White Sox baseball fans. We spend a lot of time in Chicago and also in New Buffalo, Michigan, where my grandfather built a house 70 years ago. Thanks again for logging on.
